1) What are the principal and permanent missions of the job:
Accounting Management:
- Manage the daily operation of the accounting functions including: Accounts Payable – Accounts Receivable – Assets Management – General Ledger – Taxation – Treasury.
-Design – document- implement local accounting processes, instructions and reinforce the robustness of the accounting process compliance.
- Provide recommendation to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Support cross-functions by presenting and interpreting the relevant accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational matters.
- Train, coach, develop accounting team members


Financial Reporting
– Ensure accurately and timely delivery of the legal entity's Financial Statements (monthly, semi-annually, annually) as internally and legally required.
- Coordinate and complete annual audit and hard close. Period-end closing: Manage the period-end closing process: on time submission of the local package as per group’s deadline. Accuracy of data report in the package: comply with group’s guidelines and applicable accounting practices.


Internal Control:
- Implement the relevant internal controls within the accounting scope and ensure strong compliance to internal control measures.
- Safeguard and act as a role model on internal control compliance.
- Provide recommendation to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.


Taxation:
-Ensure on-time and accurate submission of tax filings/ declarations (VAT, CIT, WHT, Transfer pricing).
-On-time and accurate submission of tax-pack in group package
-Ensure full compliance with relevant tax regulations.
-Anticipate tax risk by continuously update the relevant tax regulation that impacting the business, propose recommendation to CFO and manage implementation of action.
-Support cross-functions by presenting and interpreting the relevant tax regulation; applying observations and recommendations to operational matters.
2) Give examples of type of problems that the job titular meets and try to describe the nature and
the degree of complexity:
- Change in business environment (internal, external) that requires adaptation of accounting processes
- Change in tax/ accounting regulation that requires adaptation of business process: requires clear interpretation of accounting & tax regulations and abilities to link them into the business operations in order to convince business partners
- Deviations from internal control measures need to be discussed and reinforced with business partners
- Working with tax authority to protect the company’s position.
