JOB SUMMARY :

  • Strong real estate and development technical and process knowledge in land development and
    construction projects from the planning stage, execution and completion stages required for such
    projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of real estate investment and purchase contracts.
  • Strong industry relationships and networks to include real estate and development professionals,
    outside real estate legal counsel, government departments, property developers, business brokers, and
    shopping center or commercial developers.
  • Strategic development analysis balanced with strong process and controls discipline related to pipeline
    building, stewardship, and execution.
  • Ability to manage large programs and processes in an expedited manner utilizing technology and as
    per the corporate reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills, articulate communicator, able to provide clear, concise and
    decisive direction to a team and deliver presentations to all levels of executive management.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, collaboration, and motivational skills to drive team performance.

MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:

  1. Key management position requiring strong leadership skills to partner in overseeing real estate
    strategy, execution, and pipeline management for the company’s development and growth.
  2. Responsibilities include overseeing real estate development activities for company Real Estate
    division as well as providing support for other development initiatives.
  3. Provide strategic direction and leadership of the company’s real estate team for land and
    construction projects, including project planning, identifying real estate market trends, by carrying out
    trends analysis, market research and valuations for various real estate sites.
  4. Provide feedback to the Real Estate company president on the preparation, due diligence
    stewardship, pipeline management, and developer partnership(s) and management required to deliver
    land development and construction project outcomes.
  5. Partner with real estate management team to support strategic plan implementation, strategic trade
    area optimization, site analysis, market research, sales forecasting accuracy, business modeling,
    performance post-auditing, and KPI reporting.
  6. Provide real time, proactive management of real estate deal approvals to ensure proper quantity,
    quality, velocity, and timing to achieve a balanced and sustainable development pipeline.
  7. Lead, manage, and enhance the real estate work flow processes by providing appropriate
    communication and leadership to real estate department heads and management teams.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional partners from Market Planning, Design, Construction,
    Operations, Real Estate Legal, Government Departments, Finance, and other company partners to ensure
    strategic and execution alignment of Development program and initiatives is realized.
  9. Support potential mergers and acquisitions, and excess property opportunity vetting through
    analysis, negotiation, approval, and process/execution management.

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED :

  8. A minimum of 15 years Retail Real Estate and Development experience with at least 5 years
    in executive leadership role.
  9. Communication skills in Vietnamese and Chinese are required
