JOB DESCRIPTION

The Learning and Development (L&D) Manager will be required to:
• Set and secure the L&D strategy for all functions
• Develop, manage, implement and evaluate strategic people development programmes and activities for H&M
• Provide L&D support to all team members
• Implement both local and global L&D Development initiatives 

Main Responsibilities
• Develop a long-term L&D plan aligned to Strategy & Global HR L&D goals
• Work closely with the Country HR to secure appropriate initiatives to support the development of Talent
• Maintain L&D policies and processes 
• Guide, direct and identify trainers 
• Manage and maintain our learning management platform 
• Identify training needs, conduct performance gap analysis and develop appropriate L&D initiatives
• Formulate and monitor KPI goals and training budgets
• Design the annual training calendar
• Source and secure the right quality of trainers through development, delivery and evaluation of train-the-trainer program
• Design, source and select internal and external training solutions to support team development at all levels
• Evaluate the effectiveness of program and assess participants’ application. Ensure maximum benefit and cost-effectiveness from both internal and external program
• Support the team and other countries’ L&D teams with regard to specific training and learning requirements
• Manage the annual training budget

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience requirements
• Professional education in either/or Human Resources, L&D or a Business Management related discipline
• Expert knowledge of L&D theories
• Experience in implementing management development program
• Experience working in key leadership positions

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

• Clear communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills with people in diverse locations
• Excellent English presentation and facilitation skills
• Good interpersonal and coaching skills
• Strong PC skills
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of the ‘Training Cycle’
• Analytical and consulting skills
