RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner
- Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience
- Ensure daily that the store opens and closes on time and pursuant to regulations
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Be able to differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast features
- Directs customers by escorting them to product displays, racks and counters; recommending items.
- Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer
- Answer all customer questions and address concerns
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and make every effort to close the sale
- Handle all transactions with accuracy
- Interact with customer through Social Media in a timely manner.
- Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing assigned or related tasks as needed.
- Supports the delivery team in delivering orders onsite to customers.
- Cashiering duties; Stock control; Housekeeping; Merchandise display; Security measures on the sales area; Check price-tags
- Maintain the appearance of all displays, tidying and restocking as needed.
- Participate in general meetings.
- Implement strictly all company’s processes, policies, and regulations.
- And other responsibilities or duties as assigned from time to time.

- Excellent manner and well-spoken in face to face situations and on the telephone.
- Ability to work on projects with effective outcomes.
- Ability to organize and communicate via digital means.
- Ability to collaborate with teams, team-player and motivated mindset.
- Ability to work through urgent situations.
- Ability to negotiate and problem solve.
- Over 1 years’ experience in a retail store or similar position.
- Furniture and/or mattress industry experience preferred.
- English language written and verbal preferred.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.
