The suitable candidate will:

  • Develop strong freehand sales pipeline by making cold call, visit, email marketing… 
  • Prospect for potential new clients for freight services and turn this into increased profitable business.
  • Identify and setup meeting with potential clients and decision makers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network or attending industry functions.
  • Present the Company performance to potential clients, ensuring their knowledge on the Company's capabilities and services are relevant and up to date.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with internal teams to develop proposals and pricing the solution/service that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Align with line manager and submit proposal ontime. 
  • Close new business deals by coordinating contracts negotiation and get advice from Coporate Legal, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and transition to Operations team. 
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospect customers and maintain customer database in CRM.
  • Plan and report all sale activities in CRM system/Sale Reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate competitive product offering and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor A/R collection by coordinating with related departments and customer.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree Holder (in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred but not mandatory)

Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Business Development/Sales role in Logistics Company, Global Freight major.

Functional Competencies:

  • Good understanding of global freight market, services and players
  • Sales skill set
  • Process design and cost model:
    • Knowledge of best operational practices
    • Demonstrate cost modeling skills

Personal Competencies:

  • Intermidate oral/written communication skill.
  • Advanced customer orientation.
  • Advanced teamwork skill.
  • Good MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Intermediate English 4 skills.
  • Foreign Trade knowledge.
  • Clear target setting and well working plan.
  • Will to frequently visit customers in provinces.
  • Can-do attitude.
