Major Duties & Responsibilities: 

Job holder is required to fully perform all of the below mentioned tasks timely, correctly and completely: 

  • Setting up the sales force, plan, organize, direct and control sales team in dedicated area  to meet these objectives
  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits 
  • Fully achieve yearly sales targets as committed on the KPIs’ yearly such as sales volume,  turnover, coverage and market development 
  • Establish realistic sales objective and action plan monthly/ quarterly for the sales team with the consultant of Regional Sales Manager; and prepare sales forecast timely
  • Plan, organize, lead and control the implementation of the tender, sales activities, sales projects, and other marketing programs within assigned territories 
  • Explore new areas both within existing territories as well as by expanding geographic coverage for sales development 
  • Monitor sales trends and competitors’ activities in the assigned territories 
  • Assign the territories to staffs and set-up the relevant individual yearly sales target for staffs 
  • Monitor each medical rep’s daily performance and compare it with that month’s objective 
  • Leverage the market demands as well as the sales opportunities for the company 
  • Prepare in advance and conduct regular sales meetings 
  • Manage budget for all sales activities 
  • Coordinate, support and supervise all instruments tender/sales projects
  • Support Regional Sales Manager to implement company's new sales strategies, including  new selling prices, sales promotion, etc.  
  • Support Regional Sales Manager to collect and evaluate information in the market  including competitors and competitive products 
  • Research about new product areas 
  • Implement promotions, incentives, and other tactical activities as required for the market  in agreement with Regional Sales Manager 
  • Review the performance of the sales team and to motivate and stimulate them to further  greater achievements 
  • Other tasks as required by the superior.

Requisite Qualification & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Medicine, MBA is preferred 
  • Broad business and commercial understanding, high level communication, negotiation and influencing experience and the proven ability to develop excellent working  relationships with a wide range of people both internally and externally 
  • Proven leader able to motivate and inspire those working with them. 
  • Dynamic, adaptable, results-oriented approach. 
  • High level of initiative and integrity. 
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Highly developed leadership, development of people, customer focus, and business  judgment skills. 
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Flexible in mindset
