RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identification of new opportunities and markets for the ERP Practices through market knowledge, customer relationship development, through targeted marketing campaigns, events and direct calling initiatives.
- Contract negotiation, prepare quotations, tenders, sales proposals, consulting, ERP software development and managed services contracts, with the support of the relevant teams.
- Responsible for executing the sales plan and process, including coordination of all necessary internal and external resources to best position the firm to secure the business
- Innovate, plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes to enhance speed, quality, efficiency.
- Assist in the development and execution of strategies to achieve sales in identified industries/markets.
- Continually work towards achieving and over achieving sales targets. To this end the BDM must take full responsibility for the consistency of his/her forecast against the target.
- Undertake research on potential new prospects recurring to a direct phone approach as required. Establish that prospects qualify in terms of pre-set criteria and develop senior contacts at established targets.
- Once deal signed, ensure that his/her customers are satisfied with product and services. Ensure that regular contact is maintained with customers. Respond to customer complaints.
- Develop effective business and commercial contacts within targeted industries. Monitor competitors positioning, services and promotional activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in business development management, sales or solution engineering
- 2+ years of experience in ERP Software Sales (SAP S4/Hana, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Oracle Fusion ERP, SAP Business One…),
- Preferably a background in the Manufacturing Industry, especially wood is an advantage
Must Have:
- Excellent English communication & presentation skills
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in domestic/international markets
- Must have excellent negotiation and convincing skills
