JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop a strategy to identify opportunities to grow merchants & profit;
- Professionally manage the merchant partnership team to achieve growth and profitability objectives by driving proactive activities with our merchants;
- Develop and maintain a process to manage and communicate merchant needs/ requests by working closely with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Services, Marketing, Product Development, etc.
- Conduct business reviews to get understanding of market insights and update the business plan;
- Develop key objectives, activities and metrics to drive productive relationships;
- Coach and develop a strong merchant partnership team that focuses on opportunity, ownership and strong communication both internal and external;
- Develop KPIs for the team and be responsible for ensuring its delivery.
- Keep updating with the market trends and key players to input into the master plan & strategy
- Other assignments from time to time by the BOD.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong leadership & proactive work ethic
- Quality people development skills
- Honesty, trustworthiness, reliability, excellent listening skills
- Excellent business development, sales, marketing and account management skills;
- Previous experience in relationship building with a range of high value accounts;
- Ability to enhance or create processes to drive departmental efficiencies;
- Good organization and time management skills;
- Strategic; highly motivated and goal oriented with solution based thinking
- Good command of English.
