Import - Export Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Control and Handle whole local customs and logistics activities for import/export

Identify and obtain the permits, licenses, certificates… required for custom clearance.
Accept and check instruction, information and document to determine and assign.
- Process & standardize SOP, KPI, SLA and monitor & control LSP to follow.
- Manage transport vendor for pick up & deliver import & export shipments.
- Negotiation with local authorities, LSP... for fastest clearance and trouble case.
Provide all the information required by the customs officer.
Update new customs rules to direct manager and store all documents for post-customs audit.

Handle additional logistics activities for export requirement

Prepare all activities for export.
Make Customs liquidation for raw material tax exemption or tax return.
Perform all activities to facilitate timely and cost-effective movement of export shipment.

Compliance and Risk assessment

Live in the company values and comply with code of conduct, guidelines, policies, ISO
Ensure the clearance process to meets all legal and status requirements
Risk management: actively reduce the risk of the company overall and regularly provide the report of operational exceptions

Leadership and Management

Build up import/export team & manage the daily activities of the team and LSP team due to the company uses the forwarder company.
Clarify role & responsibility and assign job for each staffs and control the local team to achieve yearly target, higher productivity & effectiveness
Training and Coaching: new staff, global trade advisory and customs policies and regulation internally and externally.

Other tasks relating to distribution will be discussed during interview

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor degree in economics or related fields
8+ years experience in Import & Export
3+ years experience at a management level.
Experience with Customs & shipping and wide knowledge about customs procedures & regulations
Good command of English
Well organized and detailed, able to work under high pressure.
Be a team player, detailed and accurate
Be truthful and have strong organizational and communication skills
