Patter Developer

Main mission:

Pattern cutting to design specifications and developing samples from initial concept stage to base size approval.
Working closely with sample machinist to develop workable construction methods.
Creating product specifications and measurement charts.
Organising and processing sample garments for fitting and sealing.
Fitting internally and externally with customers
Measurement & inspection of seals.
Checking quality of samples/materials from concept samples through to finished production
Compiling detailed, annotated fit comments and workable suggestions for progressing garments through fit process.
Able to work closely with the Designers & Technical Department to commercial excellence
Factory and Client liaison
Ensuring that a complete set of patterns, with grade applied, is completed pre sign off to send on to factories.
Working closely with Design team.
Working closely with sample machinist to develop workable construction methods.
Liaising with in-house technical team.
Creating product specifications and measurement charts.

Requirements:

At least 10 years’ experience to hold the similar position at Lingerie; Swim wear, Sportswear or Sleepwear enterprise with same organisational size
Strong knowledge of garment specifications, measurement charts, grading increments and sewing construction.
Knowledge of garment construction.
Textile Knowledge
A strong understanding of body shaping and the fundamentals of fit
Knowledge of digital pattern making preferably on PAD system but Gerber knowledge is helpful
