  • Develop new products with suppliers 
  • Develop new systems to ensure the production process is optimized
  • Negotiate best prices for custom orders
  • Coordinating between suppliers for correct and smooth product development
  • Organize production with BOMs and QC Checklists
    • Create and manage the Production timeline and constantly update the schedule as needed
    • Report all exceptions and issues in the shared calendar 
    • Propose/recommend improvement solutions in re-arranging production process
  • Ensure suppliers are staying on track for on-time delivery
  • Daily follow up with suppliers to keep track of production status and problem solving
  • Ongoing reporting of production status to HQ  office to Operations Director
    • Oversee construction of custom pieces and custom color matching
    • Manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control process 
    • Manage quality control of packaging before shipping for custom pieces
    • Technical consultant to factories
    • Ensure AutoCAD drawings are correct and updated
    • Weekly production meetings to review production schedule
    • Create weekly production plan with QC Manager each Monday and input to shared calendar
    • Work with Office Manager to ensure Head Office receives constant updates
  • Manage QC Manager and the entire production team
  • Conduct production training for production team to increase company productivity
  • Finding new suppliers and sourcing materials
  • Work closely and strongly with suppliers and their staff
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Discuss production problems with suppliers and secure credit notes
  • Build a positive working environment by giving example through good manners and effective communication
  • Understanding the full capabilities of each supplier


Education: BA or Diploma with major in Furniture Design or Engineering with management experience


  • At least 8 years experience in manufacturing and a minimum of 5 years in a management position
  • Experience in furniture construction is a PLUS
  • Experience working with subcontractors
  • Well organized in PLANNING production 
  • Leadership, persuasiveness, adaptability
  • Excellent in English
  • Ability to make sound decisions
  • Able to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines

Knowledge of:

  • Able to advise on technical furniture construction
  • Furniture Quality Control 
  • Furniture materials is a PLUS
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
