JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for production planning for Finished Goods from plan to execution in order to meet targets of production output, efficiency, requested ship out date on daily basis as well as identifying any (potential) risk/ issue and giving out prompt feedback and plan adjustment to mitigate the risk in advance to reduce the loss at minimum level.

MAIN DUTIES

Work closely with capacity planning/ launch management team to oversee mid-term plan basing on sales order for short term demand and forecast (MPS) for mid-term demand. From that identify required capacity in short term, product type, product family, production complexity, and break down in process level Interpret and reflect offered capacity at planning work center level, mapping required capacity in main and sub processes to see any gap from offered capacity. Especially focus on critical processes that may cause constraint (Pre, Post, Plating, Pen-plating, soldering, epoxy, etc.), then coordinating with related department, personnel to come up with corrective action plan then monitor the progress to achieve the plan
Deliver production planning daily/ weekly/ monthly report, and KPIs include Production Daily Report, Weekly SDP Tracking, Tracking from Daily Schedule & Execution, Aging Back Order, etc. to review production performance compared to goals and giving out actions to close the gap if any

Responsible for weekly production order converstion and providing daily production schedule.

Ensuring production planning master data and parameters are updated on time by priodical review and supervising planners’ activities
Coordinate and manage add hoc projects as required and other duties assigned by direct manager
Be main responsibility of system (SAP) parameter control of PP module
Establish and enhance continuously significant Production Planning KPIs
Coordinate shortage and surplus of BOM (bill of material) components with purchasing team to solve out the issue on weekly basis

1. Spend transparency with Production Planning KPIs and reporting
2. Sustain availability of production components (bill of material components) by foresighted Increasing transparency for analysis by proper master data setting
3. Optimised utilization of production capacities by balancing order load through the whole production process and over the whole production sites
4. Foresighted planning for proactive managing of bottle neck resources in cooperation with production management
5. 95% availability of novelty and 90% of basic according to requested delivery date
6. Providing SCM manager with transparent report to enable balanced periodical order load
7. Promote improvement spirit by development new technology/ process

MAJOR CHALLENGES

1. Complexity of article mix production
2. Competence to work with humans and social competence
3. Coordination of work across different departments and individuals within company and global Supply Chain will require open communications and awareness of diversified cultures
4. Value chain orientated and proactive working as key contact person supply chain and production management
5. Best practice usage of SAP APO system as planning core modul with continuous improvement of planning processes and system usage
6. The fast moving business requires a high level of flexible work style and the ability to create stability

DIMENSIONS

1. Deliver produciton plan supporting 5 mio jewelry pieces per year, and continous growth in next 5 years
2. Continous improvement and enhancement of master data quality, KPIs and reports to spend transparency in term of operational planning and production execution
3. Monitoring loads causing unbalancing in processes and giving out adjusted plan
4. Optimizing lead times through the production process company by spending transparency
5. Availability finished items according requested delivery date customer
6. Proactive identification and communication of bottle neck resources to production management

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 - 8 years Senior Level
