JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement automation and industry best practices to run our large scale, rapidly growing infrastructure with minimum human intervention.
- Research, design, and implement solutions for fault tolerance, monitoring, performance enhancements, capacity optimization, disaster recovery, and configuration management of systems and applications.
- Configure and build tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for our Microservices and Product.
- Develop a containerization strategy for the cloud deployment of our products to our international customers.
- Set standards with the development team for how code should be optimally structured for easy deployment.
- Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENT
We are constantly evolving our toolset looking for best in breed solutions, but here are some of the technologies we are currently or will be using in the near future and that would be great if you have experience with the below tools, but it is not absolute must.
- Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, ...)
- Linux
- Scripting (Bash, Powershell)
- AWS
- Jenkins
- PostgreSQL
- Kubernetes
- Kafka
- ElasticSearch
- Java/Spring
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
We are looking for motivated individuals with a desire to learn and explore, but at the same time be mindful of what it takes to build scalable and stable production environments. Bonus points if you are interested in automated testing.
